Bio
In 1995, at the age of 17, Sven Tasnadi from Leipzig started his journey as a DJ. His production style blends deep house, percussively reduced tech house, trip-hop, ambient, and soul influences. In 2005, he met producers Matthias Tanzmann and Daniel Stefanik, which led to his first vinyl release on the Moon Harbour sub-label Cargo Edition in 2007.
Tasnadi's tracks have appeared on labels such as Cocoon, Katermukke, Poker Flat, and Moon Harbour. He has produced remixes for artists like Steve Bug and Anja Schneider and has performed at venues including Panorama Bar, Fabric London, and Watergate. His track "Waiting For You Again" was featured on Sven Väth’s "Sound of the Season" compilation.
To date, Sven Tasnadi has released four albums. In 2009, he founded the label Oh Yeah! (active until 2015), where he released his debut solo album "SLOW" (2013). With Moon Harbour, he released "All In" (2015) and "Bridges" (2018). Since 2020, he has been running his second label, Headfire International, which saw the release of "Baroque Electronique" in 2023.
