for our latest release we’ve assembled some global heavyweight players to lend a hand in our two part remix project for po-lar-i-ty. we begin in st. louis with osunlade’s trippy interpretation of ‘it-was-all-just-a-dream’, with floaty pads and hypnotic melodies, this one sets the mood. ‘we-are-brothers’ received a deep treatment from jullian gomes, delivering a sub sonic head noddin’ groove that lays seamlessly alongside the words of leeto b thale. we depart south africa for emmaculate’s chi town jazz bounce of ‘com-pro-mise’, laced with the lovely ryan wayne tedder wailing sax & jesse gannon’s piano tickles, this one is for the dance circle! We take a short commute to ontario for a ride on demuir’s ‘spaceship-earth’. upon landing we find ourselves deep in the party. in true funk fashion demuir returns to home base for a hit it and quit it ditty bound to rock the joint. moving along we travel to peep the bay area to see newcomer and all around jack of all trades, coflo. he takes ‘nawlin’s’ to the jungle with his remix. here we have a classic jam made for the soul, not even kartina can knock this one down. To round part one off we head across country to new york for some transparency vibes from dj oji aka original man. here we arrive at that cerebral state of mind ready for the reset. we are especially grateful for all the love and contributions to this project and hope you enjoy it as much as had in creating it.
