Over the course of the last two plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Ovum and Kompakt to 20:20 Vision, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Watergate, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.

Chris Carrier is one of those rare kinds of artists that have an omnipresent quality and yet do not seek to make their name bigger than the music itself. You may not know it but there is a 99% chance you have experienced some dancefloor-based elation at the hands of the Parisian maestro. Releasing his first EP in 1994, he has over 20 years under his belt as a producer and DJ, with a huge back catalogue of releases. With all of that in his locker, Carrier remains ardent in his quest to create more and more classic material and is revered as one of the most prolific and gifted producers around today.

A key figure in the 1990s Paris scene, he released three albums on F Communications and has held a various residencies worldwide. Now based in Berlin, he focuses on studio work and developing music software through his 510k Arts brand, widely used by producers worldwide. While performing less often, he continues shaping electronic music from his analog-packed studio, looking for the prefect beat.

Always sitting slightly off-centre, Jay Tripwire is an artist that walks the line as industry staple and ever changing innovator,

releasing one standout release after another.

His signature fusion of deep Detroit textures and intricate rhythms has led a career spanning two decades,

with over 200 vinyl releases, 2 commercial mixed cd compilations, and four full length albums.

He remains one of the most prolific artists around, with an average of 15 releases per year.

He is an always an in demand remixer he averages 10-15 remixes per year.

In 2010 Jay Was honoured by being named by Future Music alongside Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard, Charles Webster,

Atjazz, and Tom Middleton as being one of the most influentual Innovators in house music for “The thoughtful minimal stylings of Jay Tripwire.”

Most recently he’s completed a compilation mix for Steve Bug’s respected label Pokerflat –

‘Shaping Elements Vol.8’ which features a blend of deep house ranging from

Detroit inspired textures to modern European house and tech house fusions,

blurring genrefication. This follows releases on the label under his 8Channels name - a project that melds basic channel,

cosmic soul and dub into a new hybrid soundscape of techno, deep house and dub.

The moniker also appears on other highly regarded labels such as Ransom Note, Conya, NRK, Cinematic and Hallucination.

Whilst the term ‘legendary’ is often bandied about with little thought,

in Jay’s case we could say just that - his personal arsenal of re-edits and comfort in arranging extended DJ sets lasting eight hours or

more certainly demonstrates a talent that deviates from standard fare.

Jay also still supports,buys and plays vinyl, and actively seeks out records to play at gigs, when Tripwire is on the decks he plays a vinyl

and CD set.

Jay has made appearances in over 200 cities worldwide, and some of his most memorable gigs have been a decade of bookings at

Fabric London- a venue that has changed his approach to Djing, and production sound.

Jay’s work has been featured on numerous compilations, notably from Cocoon, Fabric, Renaissance, Journeys by DJ, Ultra & Bedrock,

and is supported by a diverse spectrum of dance culture from house luminaries

such as, Doc Martin and Kerri Chandler to techno legends Steve Bug and Laurent Garnier and John Digweed

With anticipated releases and remixes imminent, the Tripwire production wheel is still very much in motion,

and on its way to a turntable near you.

Hardfloor is the project of Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker from Duesseldorf, Germany and was formed in 1991 as the German acid and techno scenes were just in the beginning.They released the 11-minute track “Acperience" soon after deciding to inject a bit of bombast into the German scene. This ground-breaking single made their name instantly recognisable to European clubbers. Utilizing since-standard compositional tools like long, melody-driven buildups and elaborate percussion breaks, the track became an instant dancefloor anthem and made Hardfloor a sought-after name for remix and production work.Hardfloor remix credits include Mike Oldfield, The Shamen, New Order, Mory Kante and many more.Although the pair recorded briefly for the Eye Q label ("Let da Bass go ", "Drugoverlord"), most of the group's early works has come out through Sven Vath's influential Harthouse imprint, including a number of full-length releases and a consistent schedule of 12-inches and EPsThey have since evolved from the more simplistic floor-movers of their earlier work, incorporating elements of hip-hop, electro, breakbeat techno, and post-acid house styles like trip-hop and intelligent dance. Each new album release has seen a slights change in their musical style but the group remains committed to the smoldering edge of acid and the sound of the Roland TB 303 comprising the lion's share of their recognizable sound.Their signature manipulation of the Roland TB303 revolutionized the techno world – Ramon and Oliver became masterful at coaxing catchy sequences and basslines out of their multitude of magical silver boxes, a style that influenced a generation of young producers and has been endlessly imitated, never surpassed.
