Bio
For the past 20 years, Jeroen Verheij aka Secret Cinema has consistently been regarded as one of the Netherlands’, if not the world’s, top techno producers and live acts. During this time he has produced some of the biggest techno anthems, including Timeless Altitude, Sonar System, Mary Go Wild, as well as widely acclaimed tracks such as Shake Your Tech Ass and Kurzweil.
He has headlined many of the biggest festivals around the globe, including closing the main stage of Awakenings Festival — a position that places him alongside names such as Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Dave Clarke.
Jeroen lives and breathes electronic music and still holds the same passion and enthusiasm on stage as he did in the early 90s.
Following the long-standing success of his Secret Cinema project, Jeroen has expanded his creative vision through a new venture called Gem — a platform encompassing music releases, events, and artist representation, which has built a strong and dedicated international following over the years. Alongside this, he curates and hosts a long-running weekly radio show focused on cutting-edge electronic music.
Simply put, Secret Cinema remains one of the brightest shining gems of the global techno scene and continues to influence and inspire audiences worldwide.
