About Dario D'Attis

Bio

Dario D’Attis came to production through the records that shaped him as a young Swiss DJ: garage, New Jersey house and the tactile swing of classic club music. In a 2017 EARMILK interview, he credited producer Brian Tappert with introducing him to Cubase and traced his broader Defected connection to “The Good Old Days,” the 2013 track that first caught the label’s attention. Remix work and original EPs followed, as did his mix of the first Defected Croatia compilation in 2016. That relationship amplified a local foundation built in Switzerland and his preference for warm, rhythm-led house. Across originals and remixes, D’Attis works like a DJ in the studio: preserving groove, leaving space and giving familiar house materials a fresh functional shape.
