Classic is back - Re-Mastered & Re-Issued

The second part of this release features remixes courtesy of Brett Johnson, Derrick Carter, Freaks and Justin Harris. First up Brett serves a boompty based twitching take using the original vocals and an electronic flavoured bass line, then half way through the track an amusing trumpet solo drops in, before dropping away in favour of the electronic beats again. Next up ‘B’s Bounce Move Vs D’s BHQ Edit’ and is actually a Brett Johnson mix made for Derrick Carter to play out that was so well received they decided to release it. It’s even more boompty than Brett’s mix, more stripped down and has pure Chicago funk written all over it. Freaks cut up the trumpet from Brett’s main mix, add loads of bleeps, a dash of confusion and wonkiness and like a toy, pull out the string and let go. Finally, one half of Freaks – Justin Harris – unleashes his Re-Doob; a brand new and previously unreleased remix that comes on like a slower, dirtier, funkier update of the Freaks remix.
