A three track West Coast / Chi-town collaboration from two unsung heroes of US house  – Joshua Michaels and Dwayne Washington – which just about sums up everything that is vital about the two scenes. ‘Biolatinoids’ looks firmly to the Windy City deepness for its inspiration with layers of acid-drenched instrumentation and timeless strings. ‘Syndicate’ hits the boompty button for a low tempo funky groove, a jerky analogue lead giving a Derrick Carter-esque feel to random noises and busy percussion.
