Kicking off the sampler DE$iGNATED featuring Ayah Marar ‘Begging For You’ seems like a statement of intent for this compilation; creative, modern house that honors its heritage. Jade Blue is a firm Love & Other favorite, she graces the compilation with the chuggy and bass heavy ‘How To See’. Thee Cool Cats have impressed with a string of solid releases in the last few years and their charming classic house shuffler ‘Fight The Vice’ is no different. Another relative newcomer LiTek brings dance floor friendly sounds with ‘1,2 Step’, presenting skills far beyond his producing years. Off the back of a recent signing Danny Howard’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ imprint, the hotly tipped Ryan Blyth offers a roiling bass-heavy giant that will devastate dance floors.
