Coflo returns with his most personal release to date. ‘Throwbacks EP’ is full of mellow in your face grooves. Kickin’ off with the lovely ‘Photoshopped PCR’, Coflo showcases his intimate side, and ode to Needs Not Wants, with a lush synth ridden, syncopated bassline and progressive chords. ‘Ride The Storm’ pays homage with an interpolation of The Doors classic while making is his own landscape in Brazilian soul. The star of the show ‘Throwbacks (Grapefruit La Croix)’ brings it all home and delivers an instant classic in our opinion, laced with a mood that can set the tone or end the set.
