Bio

As an independent dance music label, Raisini Records was born out of passion and perseverance. Founded in 2003, we proudly became Dubai’s first independent dance music label, driven by the belief that music can transcend boundaries and foster connections. Our mission was clear from the start: to bring diverse musical genres to the Middle East, a region just beginning to embrace dance music. In our first year, Raisini Records quickly earned the respect of some of the world’s most renowned DJs, producers, and labels. Our founder, inspired by a deep love for music, set out to create something unique after facing rejection from major labels. Rather than giving up, we chose to forge our own path, uniting local and international talent to introduce a new sound to Dubai. Early releases from legends like Roland Clark, whose track “Deep in House” gained global acclaim, marked the beginning of our journey. This independent spirit has been central to our growth, aligning us with iconic labels like Strictly Rhythm, Salsoul, and West End, and following in the footsteps of music legends such as Mel Cheren, Larry Levan, and Michael Jackson. Leonidas Raisini Over the past two decades, Raisini Records has remained at the forefront of the dance music scene, introducing new genres, hosting international artists, and organizing unforgettable events. From soulful house beats to techno rhythms, our music reflects the heartbeat of a city on the rise. Our journey began with a strong entry into the scene with “Deep In House” by Roland Clark, a soulful house track that featured remixes by Dubai-based producers Raisini & Guidera, Shik Stylko of Munich, Jon Silva from Köln, and Jesus Jackson. This success was soon followed by Chris Forman’s “Rated X (I’m Talk Like Sex),” a hip-house track that reached the top 10 on Traxsource’s download charts, even while still in its promo phase. DJ Tekin’s debut single, “Save My Soul,” featuring Turkish vocalist Taclan, was another milestone, gaining recognition with remixes by Davidson Ospina & Oscar. Upcoming releases from notable artists like Lenny Fontana, Gregory Del Piero, Kenny Bobien, Billy Love, Grantorino, and Markus Homm will further showcase our commitment to bringing quality dance music to the world.
