VL Recordings is an extension of the Vatos Locos brand whe re Hector is able to showcase artists, established and unestablished, who share a similar vision in which there are ‘no egos, just music’. Providing tools for DJs around the world to take a dancefloor to a hypnotic state. Through these releases. Hector is able to pay tribute to the vinyl culture which are the roots of his musical journey dating back to his first job in London’s infamous Phonica Records store in Soho. Like those mentors who nurtured and encouraged him from a young age to DJ and produce, Hector does the same for talent which releases on the VL Label. VL Recordings encompasses what the brand stands for. The aesthetic of the label being clean yet rebellious, allowing the global comunity which consider themselves vatos locos able to relate to.
