Manual Music was started by Dutch DJ/producer Paul Hazendonk, initially as a sublabel of the infamous Basic Beat company just after the summer of 2005 . The label quickly gained international fame with it’s first release ‘Robotfood’ by Petter and has built a solid reputation ever since.

In 2009, Paul Hazendonk left the Basic Beat company after more then 8,5 years and adapted the Manual brand name for his own company, simply calling it Manual Music. Nowdays Manual Music is a company taking care of management, publishing, digital distribution and ofcourse releasing music on several (sub)labels in various genres within the electronic music scene. Every now and then Manual also hosts an area or a party at various locations, but Manual Music is not a party organisation.

Next to the main label Manual Music (electronica / progressive techno) there are also the Stolen Moments (techno), Melomane (techhouse), Adult Records (hardgroove techno), Groove Worxx (hardgroove techno) and Work Hard Play Hard (funky / melodic techno) labels. On top of that the Manual Music company also owns the catalogue for now defunkt labels Lo-FiSoul, Relatives, Technique and Fly Life Records.

After 6 years Manual Music is still going strong. With an ever increasing fanbase and expanding brand name, the future for Manual is looking bright!

Kevin is a massive fan of the music industry and considers himself very lucky to have lived his life heavily involved in the current dance scene!!! From running parties (Flaunt-It, 10 years plus), owning a distribution company (Essential Direct Ltd, one of the most successful Uk Dance Music distributors for the last 10 years), owning and running an online digital promotional site "Promo Fizz", owning an mp3/community site (Mp3toburn) and owning his own record label, no one can say Kevin hasn't contributed to today's dance market!

Nowadays Kevin spends the majority of his time tucked down in the studio and in the last year alone has had releases on Stealth, Toolroom, Deeperfect, Hotfingers to name a few, with 2 of Umek's 1605 label's biggest three releases from the last year! Whilst at the weekends he spends his time djing, gigging at some of the best clubs in the world.

Kevin's label World Sound Recordings, now approaching it's 50th release, already with No.1 hits on the leading online digital websites Beatport /Traxsource) continues to go from strength to strength. This tech house / techno / house label gives Kevin the ideal opportunity to express what he has learnt from the industry and to show case all his new individual productions but also work along side other talented producers as he signs some great material! To date working with the likes of Jesse Garcia, Juan Kidd, Kid Massive, Paul Harris, Felix Baumgartner, Patric La funk & the Hoxton Whores to name a few with it’s direction focused around the current underground dance scene.
