Bio
Guzi was fifteen when he started DJing on the online station Filth FM in 2010, and he has said the producer Cimm was the one who showed him Ableton; his first record for Sub-liminal Recordings only landed in 2017. Mixing and mastering has since become the Brighton producer's main occupation, at roughly a hundred jungle and drum and bass tracks a month, with more than five thousand having passed through his GZ Audio studio. He teaches production for Education & Bass, where a student called Entropy went on to release on Section 63 Recordings, the jungle and breakbeat label Guzi runs. GZ Audio itself grew out of Sub-Division Recordings, a sister imprint to Sub-liminal that issued twenty-nine records before he rebranded it in 2022.
