Birmingham's own RUZE & Beatportal’s ‘One’s To Watch’ are rapidly making their mark in the dance music scene with a unique sound that fuses infectious basslines, punchy percussion, and soulful vocals. Their recent release on insomniacs Factory 93 imprint, ‘Sample Inspector’, with collabs with Robbie Doherty & Chesster" gained heavy industry support, and their 2021 "Chapters" EP topped Beatport charts, with "Mindset" going viral. Subsequent releases, including "Hardwire" in 2022, continued their Beatport chart-topping success.

In 2024, RUZE's "Journey LP" on PIV Records saw early singles "Mister DJ" and "Trip" achieve top Beatport chart positions, with "Mister DJ" reaching No. 1 in Minimal Deep Tech on Traxsource and "Trip" gaining Radio 1 support. Cesare Marchese is an Italian-Polish artist now based in Brazil. He is a DJ, music producer-composer, sound engineer and A&R, founder of Serialism Records and Morning People. Having lived first in Milan in the 90s, then in London for almost a decade, Cesare relocated to Berlin a few years back. During his time there he held residencies and played regularly at the most influential clubs in between touring all over the world on top of releasing music on some of the most known Dance labels around. Now based in São Paulo for a few years, he's leaving his mark on Brazil's nightlife with a residency at D-Edge club and constant appearances at the best events around the country as well as composing Soundtracks for Films, TV series, Shorts, and Documentaries reaching and winning some prestigious Film Festivals worldwide. His background is eclectic, obsessive, ranging from classical piano studies and live drums to a deep passion for Jazz, Bossanova, Neo Soul, Electronica, Dub, Drum&Bass and Trip/Hip Hop. His discography stretches over for years and continents and includes major Indie labels such as Ninja Tune/Big Dada, Cocoon, Bpitch Control, Transmat, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical Music, Bedrock and tons of underground imprints, from Vakant to Watergate via Dumb Unit, Rawax, NervMusic or on his label Serialism that has been a reference in the Club industry for 15 years.

In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romania’s Tzinah Records, Moscow’s Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016.

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12” releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germany’s almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno’s rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.
