Change is inevitable, and nowhere is this more prevalent than in the world of dance music. Analog gives way to digital, trends come and go, yet NYC’s DJ Joeski remains at the top of his game, and now, in the midst of his third decade as one of house music’s most sought-after stars, his momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Joeski’s trajectory can be traced back to 1991, when he burst onto the NYC house music scene as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory DJ collective. He delighted crowds at Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium and NASA, helped turn “Save The Robots” into a NYC afterhours institution and earned his first residency at “Together” parties at the legendary Roxy, playing alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez.

Already a fixture on the U.S. and Canadian club circuit,in the late 90’s Joeski added production to his repetoire, building his own recording studio and spending the next few years mastering his craft. In 2000 he burst into the clubs and onto the charts with hit after hit on Electrik Soul, Siesta, Chez and Camouflage, emerging as one of the most sought-after DJs, remixers and producers in the scene.

In 2001 Joeski launched Maya Records, with releases like “Hustler’s Revenge” and his collaboration with DJ Chus on “El Amor” propelling the label onto the forefront of the U.S. house music sound that would become a global phenomenon and win him worldwide acclaim from clubbers and fellow DJs alike.

Demand for his studio skills grew exponentially over the next decade, with Joeski producing and remixing for the likes of NRK, Ministry of Sound, Defected, Bedrock, Nervous, Cajual and KMS ,helping catapult him further into the ranks of the house music elite.

Entering its 16th year, his Maya label continues a steady output of quality material that remain fixtures on the Beatport and Traxsource tech and deep house charts, with a robust release schedule that shows no signs of slowing any time soon.

January 2017 began with Joeski once again hard at work in the studio, teaming up with Harry Romero (as HR+Ski) on “Dem Tings” for Maya, working solo on “Lessons in Dub” for Poker Flat and also releasing the 14th installment in his “Maya Sessions” podcast on Pioneer DJ Radio.

The new music and remixes continued with the release of “Mind Function” on Maya and “Tribute to Obatala” on Crosstown Rebels, dropped by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show in February.

Joeski’s touring schedule continues to be as prolific as his studio output, headlining clubs from Acapulco to Helsinki plus a booked-out week spent at Miami Music Week 2017. In March all three tracks from “Tribute to Obatala” simultaneously climbed onto Beatport’s Tech House Top 100, with Joeski ending the month as featured artist on John Digweed’s “Transitions” podcast.

New music continued to flow in April including the release of Dancing in Space” on Kinetika and “Deep Elements EP” on Kitball, while “Mind Function” on Maya climbed into the Traxsource Tech House Top-10. Returning home from a tour of Mexico Joeski hit the studio once again, jamming with SF’s legendary Doc Martin on an upcoming collaboration and putting the finishing touches on his next solo Maya release.

This summer Joeski will once again be a fixture on the global tour circuit with performances at both Do Not Sleep and Dennis Ferrer’s Misfits Party in Ibiza, extensive tours of Australia, New Zealand, South America and Europe while back stateside he and Harry Romero continue their monthly Yage night at Brooklyn’s Output.

Fueled by his genuine love of the music, there’s no doubt that Joeski will continue to evolve both behind the decks and in the studio, captivating new generations of club-goers and maintaining his place as one of dance music’s most enduring talents.

Every artist leaves a mark, and Mihai Popoviciu’s is unmistakable. For almost two decades, the Romanian producer and DJ has crafted a signature style—deep, hypnotic grooves, pinpoint precision, and an energy that commands the dancefloor.
Growing up in Sibiu (Romania), a city far removed from Europe’s electronic epicenters, Mihai’s passion for house and techno was born in isolation. The ‘90s saw London, Berlin, and Ibiza booming with dance music, while he was left scavenging for whatever sounds he could find. “We’d record German TV shows onto cassette and play them on repeat,” he recalls.

With no club scene in sight, Mihai’s DJ dreams seemed like a long shot. “I couldn’t DJ because there were no clubs,” he laughs. But software was within reach, so he made music. Refining his sound track after track, in 2005, his music found a home on International Deejay Gigolo. From there, he became a fixture on labels like Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bondage Music, Berg Audio, and his own imprint, Cyclic, founded in 2012.

Patience and persistence paid off. Once purely a producer, Mihai soon stepped behind the decks, learning the art of DJing on borrowed turntables. His transition from the studio to the club was seamless. Soon, the world took notice. Over the past decade, Mihai Popoviciu has solidified his status as a leading figure in the electronic music scene. Now, his name graces the lineups of the most revered clubs and festivals worldwide.

Mihai’s mission is simple: to share the joy and energy that fuel his passion. “Seeing people dance, smile, and lose themselves in the music—that’s what it’s all about.”

Whether commanding an underground club or a festival stage, Mihai’s sound remains unmistakable. “He had it from the start,” says friend and agent Benny Grauer. “You always know when it’s Mihai. And it’s always on point.”

Starting in Naples in the early nineties with productions for legendary labels like
the Italian UMM, and for more than 20 years, Tuccillo has been an integral part of
the winding paths of electronic music.
He evolved step by step with new influences but firm in his way of producing and
in his support for vinyl and its classic sound.
Over the years, both analog and digital instruments have been incorporated into
his studio.
Driven by a timeless sense of sound and flawless production, as part of his sonic
imprint, he prefers to mix manually on an analog mixer and modulate sounds
directly from the hardware or create his beats using old akais samplers.
Starting from Ibiza, Tuccillo has taken his sound and sessions to the most
outstanding clubs in the world.
He began his first venture as a record label founder in 2013 launching Unblock
Records.
Together with close friends they embarked on creating their first vinyl. Since then,
collaborations and remixes from artists such as Djebali, Dj Sneak, Robert Dietz,
Tomoki Tamura, Shaun Reeves and Satoshi Tomiie have been added.
This same year together with Tomoki Tamura, they create an alias for a
collaboration entitled "Doublet" which will be the name that will launch the vinyl
series.
Currently Tuccillo has resumed his passion for the "Chill out balearic" sound. Since
his arrival in Ibiza in 2000, thanks to this genre, his productions have undergone
collaborations with legends such as José Padilla. Together with another pioneer
from Ibiza, Dj Pippi in 2016 they launched the label "Modern Manners"
In this project Tuccillo also adds more collaborations such as Modonostro with the
vocalist Danielle Moore of Crazy P. and Mr. Few. or
also under the aliases Tuccinelli and FewLab.
At the beginning of 2020 Tuccillo created ”Electrobalearic”, the simple idea of
mixing two genres such as electro and Balearic beat is clear.
In the summer of 2021 he launched his personal project “House of Tucci, where he
took up his favorite game, the pure and deep house sound of the 90s ,
which includes releases with collaborations and remixes by Archie Hamilton and
vocalist Kindbud.
“A year later, Tuccillo starts the 2022 with a remix for Nightmare on Wax of his song
Wonder" from the LP "To Freedom" released on Warp Records for a special Vinyl
Remixes relase with other artists such Osunlade and Paul Woolford.
Afterwards he began working on his first EP "sunshine City" for the legendary NYC
label “Nu Groove records”
and at the same time a collaboration with vocalist Howard Perry and TradeCraft for
the song "I believe"
which will be released together in a special vinyl edition.
In the summer he also released his first EP on Kerry Chandler's label "Kaoz Theory”-
The Waves Ep.
Climbing the top100 House of the most important stores.
Tuccillo confirms to be an
important part for lovers of the classic House sound.
In 2024 Tuccillo is once again punctual with the releases, returning with his labels
Unblock and House of Tucci,
and also in his latest EP for Nu Groove "Frames Ep"
which features a collaboration with the Chicago legend Ron Carrol
"Don't Walk Away “.
Through the years Tuccillo has proven to be a constant and consistent creator.
His passion for searching for new sounds is tireless and it is difficult to define him
with a single musical genre.

Chris Carrier is one of those rare kinds of artists that have an omnipresent quality and yet do not seek to make their name bigger than the music itself. You may not know it but there is a 99% chance you have experienced some dancefloor-based elation at the hands of the Parisian maestro. Releasing his first EP in 1994, he has over 20 years under his belt as a producer and DJ, with a huge back catalogue of releases. With all of that in his locker, Carrier remains ardent in his quest to create more and more classic material and is revered as one of the most prolific and gifted producers around today.
