Fernanda Arrau brings Latin American rhythm and song into house, techno and electro. The Chilean DJ and producer established herself in Santiago's clubs before moving to Europe in 2017, with releases through Pirotecnia followed by work for Permanent Vacation, Duro and Playground. Now based in Madrid, she has cited Matías Aguayo as an important influence from Chile's electronic scene.
Her listening extends beyond club music. For the NTS programme Land of Women, she selected female singers, musicians and producers from across the Spanish-speaking world, moving through pop, folk and bolero. That programme offers a wider view of the musical interests behind her productions and sets.
