Being exposed to electronic music and inspired by many electronic musicians as a teenager, Mike developed his own perspective on music. He started his early musical journey by releasing his first vinyl E.P. at the age of 18 for the well known Substatic Records, a great kick for Mike that led him to have a second release in the same year at the Berlin based label, inviting positive feedback from majors like Dj Magda and Sven Vath.

Being under the radar for longer than two years, taking inspirations from different club scenes world wide and concentrating on producing, Mike returns in 2012 as « Mike Sharon » and releases his timeless record « I Feel You E.P » on Stockholm’s fresh underground house label Local Talk Records to became a big favorite for many on the dance floor cooking up a fresh and new deep house sound with a mind blowing inspirational vibe.

At that time, Mike makes his first tour of France and plays at tight venues such as Enfant Allechant and Le Rafiot, giving Mike the chance to explore and share new ideas with the local culture. Mike’s greatest ambition is to dedicate his work and passion towards building a new home forhis productions and a home to be for new artists sharing the same musical ideas.

The ambition manifested at end of the year of 2012 and revealed the « Ultra Knites Records » series along with UK based Dj Sem Marini. Both share the same vision and perspective.

Coming right down from Ibiza, the JNJS duo is composed of Jay Nortown and Jacobo Saavedra.

Proud Circoloco Ibiza Residents at DC10, you can usually find them on Mondays heating up the dance floor for some of the biggest artists of the industry.

They collaborate assiduously with Slapfunk, Les Enfants and Friedas and travel every year to Marrakech (for Supervibe) and Zanzibar (for Why? Not).

When we ask them about their music style, they’ll tell you it’s hard to categorize. Eclectic with high-energy sessions, being a duo allows them to consistently challenge each other, which pushes them to navigate through a large spectrum of sounds.

On top of their DJ game, their productions are getting played by top DJs such as Raresh, Magda, Enzo Siragussa, Traumer, Sedef Adassi or Priku, who select their tracks for their sets at the best clubs and festivals.

Velvet Label Bosses, they have released vinyl-only EPs from Silverlining, Triptil, iO Mulen or Alexis Cabrera, but also some digital format with artists like Cosenza or Jamahr.

They keep traveling around the world to play in clubs and festivals, sharing their sound and energy wherever they land.

In the endless sea of producers and selectors, only a few leave a lasting impression. They are the niche artists, individuals that push sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romania’s Tzinah Records, Moscow’s Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style. In 2014 this culminated in the release of Silat's first full length album, with ten wondrously diverse minimalist cuts seeing a digital release on Mulen. Having achieved this milestone, the talented producer dedicated himself to the perfection of his craft with a renewed determination, going vinyl only and launching his own imprint Modeight Records in 2016.

Fast forward to the present and Silat Beksi has amassed an enviable body of 12” releases on his journey so far. Cementing himself as one of the most inform talents in Europes underground scene with releases on labels like Germany’s almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight. His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno’s rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.

Silat Beksi

Every artist leaves a mark, and Mihai Popoviciu’s is unmistakable. For almost two decades, the Romanian producer and DJ has crafted a signature style—deep, hypnotic grooves, pinpoint precision, and an energy that commands the dancefloor.
Growing up in Sibiu (Romania), a city far removed from Europe’s electronic epicenters, Mihai’s passion for house and techno was born in isolation. The ‘90s saw London, Berlin, and Ibiza booming with dance music, while he was left scavenging for whatever sounds he could find. “We’d record German TV shows onto cassette and play them on repeat,” he recalls.

With no club scene in sight, Mihai’s DJ dreams seemed like a long shot. “I couldn’t DJ because there were no clubs,” he laughs. But software was within reach, so he made music. Refining his sound track after track, in 2005, his music found a home on International Deejay Gigolo. From there, he became a fixture on labels like Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bondage Music, Berg Audio, and his own imprint, Cyclic, founded in 2012.

Patience and persistence paid off. Once purely a producer, Mihai soon stepped behind the decks, learning the art of DJing on borrowed turntables. His transition from the studio to the club was seamless. Soon, the world took notice. Over the past decade, Mihai Popoviciu has solidified his status as a leading figure in the electronic music scene. Now, his name graces the lineups of the most revered clubs and festivals worldwide.

Mihai’s mission is simple: to share the joy and energy that fuel his passion. “Seeing people dance, smile, and lose themselves in the music—that’s what it’s all about.”

Whether commanding an underground club or a festival stage, Mihai’s sound remains unmistakable. “He had it from the start,” says friend and agent Benny Grauer. “You always know when it’s Mihai. And it’s always on point.”

Consistently delivering high-quality music, each new release subtly evolves while maintaining a distinctive sound that has won the hearts of selectors and dancers alike.

2017 was a big year for Michael James with his many releases on Constant Sound and their vinyl only sub label Constant Black gaining support from artists ranging from the likes of iO (Mulen), Apollonia’s Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia, and Shonky, Barac, Dubsons, Dana Ruh, Enzo Siragusa and Thomas Melchior. Every release Michael has done has sold out, and sold quickly with each of his Constant Sound/Black releases hitting the top spot on the bestsellers charts.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Perlon artists, Ricardo Villalobos and Zip, and, in more recent times, artists from the Romanian revolution such as Raresh, Rhadoo, and Barac, Michael has amassed an enviable vinyl collection, and has forged an underground sound of his own fusing elements of dub minimal, house, and techno. Regular 5+ hours sets at Ibiza’s infamously selective spot – Ibiza Underground have been supplemented by performances at Ibiza’s super clubs such as Privilege and Space, alongside his long term Ibiza residency at The Zoo Project.

With more releases lined up for 2018, you’ll be hearing a lot more from Michael.

Coming from Romania, Adrian Niculae a.k.a. Priku established himself as a hard working and passionate music creator. He is a member of Sunrise booking since 2007, making his way up to the big gigs through many noticeable Sunwaves performances.
He runs the Atipic label and Atipic (live) project.
