Ramon Tapia was born and raised in Holland, with a Dutch mother and Chilean father – his upbringing had an eclectic mix of cultures which in turn developed and influenced his decision to become a musician.

In 2023 Ramon entered into the Raw Techno techno Top 10 charts with a bang, like his collaboration with Gaston Zani ‘Friction’ on Planet Rhtyhm and ‘Circular’ on Christian Smith’s  Tronic Music in 2024 .

Working in his teen years in Antwerp’s famous record store ‘USA import’ he sculpted a broad taste in music and his production skills along the way gradually learning how to produce tracks solo, with a solid foundation in pounding techno and hardcore scene.

He found his resurgence in the 00’s, forging a new school techno sound with his release ‘Land Of Drum’ on Pocket the sublabel of Music Man, a release on Gayle San’s label Equator and more house styled tracks on New York’s legendary Strictly Rhythm label. That's where his name catapulted into the limelight, becoming the biggest turning point for his career, resulting in a residency at Sankey’s Ibiza for three years, multiple bookings around the globe, rapidly growing loyal fan base and global recognition.

With an impressive collection of releases on some of the biggest labels, Ramon started his very own imprint - Say What? Records in 2012. The label delivers a proper dancefloor-ready Techno from respected names and new kids pulling the wagon for the new generation under Ramon’s supervision.

It's by no means a coincidence that Tim Engelhardt released his debut album on Steve Bug's Poker Flat label at the tender age of 17 years old. For his musical education began a full decade earlier, when he made his first encounter with classical music theory on the piano at home. Influenced by the musical leanings of his parents, with Mike Oldfield's compositions being particularly formative, Tim soon discovered the tracks of Cologne producer Robert Babicz, shifting his focus to computers and synthesizers as the primary means of production. In the midst of a diverse new generation of young producers who'd source their inspiration from a whole range of genres, Tim kicked off his career as he released his first vinyl EP at the age of 14. It's the combination of a deep-running music knowledge and an intuitive playfulness that Tim has been cultivating since then, expressing itself in a great love for harmony and expanding melodic structures, paired with an organic flow and atmospheric density. As a result, Tim's impressive output of the past years found a home on labels like Poker Flat, Cityfox, Watergate, Fryhide, Innervisions, Vivrant and, most recently, on Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent, where his second album 'Idiosynkrasia' was released in 2020. His work in the studio is only one side of the coin, however, as Tim has been touring the globe extensively, playing dance floors at festivals and clubs in Australia, Africa, India, Europe and the US. Here, Tim found a home away from home in New York, where the renowned Cityfox awarded him with a permanent residency at the super-club Avant Gardner. His continuous presence in the Big Apple culminated in the musical contribution to the New York Timesbestseller project 'The Outlaw Ocean' by journalist Ian Urbina. During the touring drought of the pandemic and thanks to his tireless research in the studio, Tim was able to make a name for himself as a sound engineer, upgrading the mixdowns of other artists. Additionally he released numerous sample packs and software templates in 2021, aiding young artists in their own production quests. Tim Engelhardt's vision for the future: Art with personality – art that holds a piece of its creator at its heart. His mission is to translate the sounds in his head into reality as convincingly as possible. Which explains why Tim's productions don't really sound like the standard DJ fodder, as he delivers a well-rounded musical vision to the club floor, that is just as awe inspiring on the hi-fi system of your living room

She’s gate-crashed into artistry, sociology, fashion and the rights of the individual. She is queer to the bone. The dance scene in Romania has a growing reputation as a thriving source of talented DJs and producers who are creating their own interpretations of the electronic music blueprint. One of the most talked about names to emerge recently is Luca M who has an impressive series of productions to his name already as well as increasing demand for his DJ skills. 2013 looks set to be the year when Luca steps into the spotlight in a major way. Luca Madalin-Alexandru, to use his full name, has had a passion for electronic music from an early age. By the time he was 15, this passion had transformed itself into his first attempts at making music, a skill he quickly mastered. At this stage he had no thoughts about becoming a DJ, but as support for his productions grew, it was the logical next step. It quickly turned into something Luca loved just as much as making music. Luca acquired his production skills through patience and determination starting with the most basic of equipment. At times it was a steep learning curve, but as his confidence and technique grew, he began to forge his own distinctive style. Beginning in 2008 with releases on local Romanian labels such as Sintope Digital, and Italian labels like Italo Business and 303Lovers, it wasn’t long before more established imprints began requesting tracks. Significant releases include ‘Grumpli’ on Starlight Unlimited, ‘Pufarine’ on Area Remote, ‘Habarnam’ on Cr2, ‘Alinare’ on Steve Lawler’s VIVa MUSiC, ‘Peak Week’ in collaboration with JUST2 on Kittball, and the ‘Principle’ EP on Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic Music. ‘Melilla’ was included on ‘Defected in the House: Miami ‘11’ mixed by DJ Chus and David Penn. In fact, Luca’s output has been nothing short of prolific with tracks and remixes across a wide selection of labels. He has also found time to launch his own label, Pamflet Music, which became the home of his debut artist album, ‘Pamflet’, released in 2010. The title is a play on the word pamphlet reflecting his time as a student; by day he would be studying, and at night laying down beats and basslines. Impressive work from an artist still in his early 20s. So what exactly gives a Luca M track its special quality? It ’s a dynamic combination of energy and groove underpinned by a funk-fuelled bassline. This is tech house in the true sense, and the secret behind his popularity with other DJs and clubbers from dedicated house heads through to techno connoisseurs.A good time is guaranteed when Luca is on the decks. “As a DJ and producer,” he explains, “when you see people enjoying your music, you can say mission accomplished! The mission is to make people happy. It’s the most beautiful feeling, and makes me stronger and more committed to finding a way to make my music even better.”
