About Julian Wassermann

Bio

Julian Wassermann’s studio test happens in public. In a 2018 interview, the Munich producer said his favourite moment was taking a newly finished track straight to a club and reading the crowd’s reaction. For the “Extase & Manie” EP, he began “Manie” with a bassline and live flanger modulation, then paired its stranger edge with the melancholic arpeggios of “Extase.” That mix of controlled low end and emotional melody runs through releases on Stil vor Talent, Einmusika and Warner Music Germany. Wassermann also became a resident at Munich’s Harry Klein, where repeated nights connected the detail of his studio work to the practical timing of a DJ set.
