Mitch Davis

Bio:  With a love of music from an early age, Col Lawton grew up in South Shields listening to artists such as The Jam, Stone Roses, Blur and Oasis. Using his pocket money to buy vinyl’s and tapes, Col was drawn to house music in the early 2000s when his ear for music changed.

Inspired by the emotions, rhythms and the feelings of house music, Col was first influenced by friends at house parties. One of his first inspirations was Stu Welford who showed him what to do and how to become a great DJ. His musical inspirations developed in the early 2000s when he discovered Naked Music with Col crediting Miguel Migs as an artist who first inspired him through his sounds and mixing. Another early musical inspiration was Mark Farina whose melodies and smooth mixing became a source of inspiration for Col.

As well as strong musical influences, Col is inspired daily by his family including his wife and son who make him work hard to achieve his dreams. Col also credits his good friendships, including Robbie Robinson, for believing in him and pushing him to achieve what they know he can.

Col was drawn to house music due to the feelings and emotions it evoked in him all those years ago. Today he still believes the feelings that house music generates acts as a trigger for him. His first live mix was in a bar in Newcastle and remembering how it felt to get that first mix right is something that has never left him.

Col loves to create music whether it is producing and looking for a particular sound that evokes those strong emotions or whether it is just creating music that brings new people into his life who love the same music as he does. His current musical inspirations include Scott Diaz, Sebb Junior, Manuel Costela, Muguel Migs and The Journey Men.

As a producer, Col is currently in the studio producing his sound, working with his team and spreading his wings by working in more clubs and at more events to show off what he can to do those who enjoy his deep/funky/jazzy style.

As his career grows and develops, Col hopes to create music that people will love and remember, either because they first heard it dancing in Ibiza with friends or because it is something they fell in love to having their first kiss. Music that matters is his blue print so his achievements will be measured on if he made good quality music that house music lovers love. Col also hopes to be able to travel the world perusing his dream and enjoy house music for the purpose it was made for – the feeling.

Jeroen Search simultaneously is one of techno’s most influential producers and well-kept public secrets. Consistently putting out quality music since the mid nineties on among many others his own genre-shaping Search imprint, he still resides where he has been for many years now; the absolute cutting edge.Named by many as a source of inspiration, Jeroen Search embodies a clear and honest interpretation of techno. His tracks, while audibly open to new and exciting musical influences, always remain true to that typical, inimitable Search-sound. He has seen little to no need to completely reinvent himself at any stage as most, if not all, of his work communicates itself with great ease due to its truly timeless nature.Starting out in 1993 under the DJ Groovehead alias with one of the first releases on X-Trax Records, Jeroen has so far put out his music on many respected labels such as Figure SPC, M_Rec LTD, Traut, Coincidence Records, and A&S, the latter he co-owns with friend and colleague Dimi Angélis. One of his personal highlights has been the ability to do two releases on Jeff Mills’ Axis/6277 label, one solo (New Reality EP) and one as Counterpart (The Martian Mystique).Jeroen’s approach to music production is an unorthodox one; he records all his tracks in a single take and does all his editing live. Constantly pushing his creativity by trying to get the most out of a minimal setup Jeroen remains active in the studio and he now has new releases lined up on Sect, Affin and Gynoid Audio.Jeroen Search live, which he debuted at Berghain in 2009, is more than just an excellent showcase of his work. It’s a journey through the vast landscape of techno, with an expert storyteller at the helm. For Maxim, music has always been more than just sound, it’s a language and a way of life.

Born and raised in Ghent, Belgium, he grew up crate digging in vinyl shops and absorbing the pulse of the underground where he learned the value of taking the long road.

Over the past 15 years he carved out his signature sound: deep, minimal and emotionally charged.

His music found its way into the sets of Solomun, Adriatique, David Guetta and Tale Of Us.

He earned his regular spots on major festivals like Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor and Dreamfields Mexico.

His belief in and love for electronic music now came to life in CLOSER, his own series of events and his newfound label.&nbsp;

Sinan Kaya is from The Bosphorus, Istanbul. He begun dj-ing in South Marmara's biggest, Club Amadeus at the year 2001. Sinan hosted many national DJs during his two years residency there. Techno Travel Festival was a great experience for him in 2003.

Sinan released his first single at early 2009. He's inspired by the roots of House Music. It's possibly to hear eclectic materials of Chicago House, Garage House, Deep Tech House in his productions and DJ sets. He worked with labels like Kolour, Skylax, Whoyostro, Apparel Music, Sub_Urban, Be Adult Music and more for physical & digital releases.

He has been in many significant productions such as "Skylax House Explotion". It was a big VA project consisting four vinyls and a mixed cd by DJ Sprinkles (Terre Thaemlitz) and Hardrock Striker from France based, Skylax Records. He took a part with the names like Octo Octa, Lady Blacktronika, Mike Sharon and many more in this project.
