About Mark Reeve

Bio

Mark Reeve knew early that the booth was where he wanted to be. Growing up around Poole and Bournemouth, he began thinking seriously about DJing at eleven or twelve and was playing records at a youth club by his mid-teens. A family move brought him from the UK to Germany in 1996–97, where Hamburg and later Frankfurt placed him close to a different scale of club culture. Sven Väth’s support and a release on Cocoon became an important break, followed by work for Drumcode, Soma, Second State and other techno labels. Reeve later founded SubVision as a home for his own driving productions and for artists whose music shared its combination of force and feeling.
