BLOND:ISH is Vivie-Ann Bakos's project spanning house music, parties and environmental work. Her sets move through melodic, Afro and organic house, with an emphasis on the shared experience of the dance floor. Originally a duo formed in Montreal, BLOND:ISH became her solo project in 2019. Performances at Coachella and Burning Man sit alongside an Ibiza career that includes an eleven-week headline residency at Pacha in 2025.
Abracadabra, her event series and label, gives that community-minded approach an ongoing home. Her recorded work includes releases on Kompakt and Defected and the 2025 solo album Never Walk Alone on Insomniac Records. She also co-founded Bye Bye Plastic, a nonprofit working to remove single-use plastics from music events and venues. The album's BioVinyl edition, made using material derived from used cooking oil, brought that environmental commitment into the way her music was released.
