Penera are two lads from Poland, who treat the boundaries of genres and styles quite freely. Their productions are a hybrid of UK bass and techno sounds, with a strong dose of inspiration from old-school breaks, jungle culture, and the vulgarity of the era during which the clubs were ruled by trance. Penera are strongly associated with P23 and CEL clubs, they also represent PR1VAT3 D4NC3R rave series. Penera’s tracks have been released by, among others, Hardline, Shall Not Fade and SNC. At the beginning of 2021, they launched their label POTOP Records. In 2023, they created the anthem of the Freedom Parade and the well-received compilation POTOP SWIM CLUB. Boys have already appeared in France, Czechia, Ukraine, and Ireland. They did performances for HÖR, Boiler Room, and several failed drifts in the back of Lidl.e, Franck and, Riot Code.
