Bio

Julio Posadas has worked through several generations of Spanish dance music, from early makina to progressive, trance, techno and house. Pi, La Kabra and Weke Weke connect him to the country's formative harder-dance years, while his later productions reflect a wider range of club interests. Based in Barcelona, he combines studio work with teaching through 73 Muzik Academy. The same concern for the people making the music led him into professional advocacy during the pandemic, when he helped establish and led AEDYP, the Spanish association for DJs and producers. His releases and remixes continue alongside those activities, with 73 Muzik providing a home for part of his own catalogue.
