About Dennis Caressa

Bio

Dennis Caressa’s roots run through Brussels and the new beat and acid music that first caught his ear. Techno followed, with Belgian figures such as Trish Van Eynde, Tom Hades and Marco Bailey among his early reference points; a later interest in minimal and tech-house widened his approach to the decks. Today he describes his sound in terms of rolling techno, keeping movement at the centre of the music. Releases on Materia, including Funk It and My Grooves, sit alongside work for Diffuse Reality, while his DJ activity includes a Bunker Records guest mix for Fnoob Techno Radio. It is a path that connects a distinctly Brussels musical upbringing with a sustained focus on rhythm.
