Lucas Zárate brings a melodic, rhythm-led approach to organic and progressive house. Now based in Miami, the Argentine DJ and producer began DJing in 2020 and producing the following year, drawing on university studies in sound design in Tucumán. Rhythm and bass are central to his writing, while his sets are carefully prepared but leave room to respond to the dancefloor. His music has appeared through The Soundgarden and Do Not Sit, and he has performed at Miami’s Do Not Sit On The Furniture. Zárate also helped build Sendas with Dulus, Nicolas Viana, Molac and Eduardo McGregor, developing a collective of friends into a label. Time Traveller, made with Mindlancholic, continues that shared venture. His listening roots extend beyond electronic music to the Argentine rock and folk records of his childhood, a background reflected in his interest in balancing musical emotion with a sustained club flow.
