About Leyo

Bio

Leyo opens a house-focused chapter in the career of the Dutch artist previously known for his work with Yellow Claw and as Bizzey. Based in the Netherlands, he draws on Chicago house, deep house and disco, while leaving room for soul, funk and more relaxed listening. The project grew from a wish to expand his musical range, with Toman and ANOTR among his reference points. His debut album Hello used a full-band setup and collaborations with Toman and singer Thierry Ganz to explore that breadth. Cécille became an ongoing home for the project, subsequently releasing Circus and Fuego. Ganz remains a regular creative partner: their Defected single Stamina brings the relationship into a direct, bass-driven house setting. Across these releases, Leyo gives his long-established production experience a different musical focus.
