Bio

Nosssia is Jorge Rivera's melodic-house-and-techno project, developed alongside his work building a local musical community in Colombia. After feeling restricted by earlier projects, he found new direction in the music of Ten Walls, Rodriguez Jr. and Life and Death, adding pads and arpeggios to a production style previously led by rhythm. He launched Nosssia and his KULTO label in 2019. KULTO's parties, his involvement with Evil House Collective and production lessons have given that music a wider setting than the studio alone. Largely self-taught, Rivera has described wanting to help others working with a sound that had relatively few local reference points when he began. Releases on The Soundgarden, Mango Alley and ILINX connect that local activity with an international progressive and melodic circuit.
