About Garas

Bio

Classic house and record digging are central to Garas's musical background. Salvo Garà began DJing in clubs around Calabria before developing his production work, bringing that dance-floor experience to music spanning house and nu-disco. Originally from Crotone and based in Verona, he has played venues including Atmosfera, Tortuga and Villa Fellini. Collaboration is a substantial part of his studio work. His continuing partnership with MF Productions includes vocal tracks such as Worth It with Whitney B and My Friend Said To Me with Angie Bee. Other partnerships have paired him with Martina Budde on Slow Down and Tom Leeland and Morris Revy on All Lies, alongside solo releases under the Garas name.
