ROUMEX unites the genres of techno and house with subtle, groovy disco elements to create a distinctive sound. A defining feature of their performances is the integration of live instruments such as violin, guitar, or synthesizer, giving each set a unique dynamic and emotional depth.
Their sound is driving, energetic, and infused with positive vibes – music that connects, moves the crowd and keeps the dancefloor in motion.
The DJ and producer duo has already established themselves on both national and international stages, performing at renowned festivals and events such as SonneMondSterne Festival, Open Beatz, Klantherapie, Moyn Moyn, Sound Open Air Vítkov National Monument, as well as numerous club shows. In addition, they have supported artists such as Innellea, Bart Skils, Reinier Zonneveld, and Claptone.
In 2018, ROUMEX released their debut EP “Tantalis” on Kittball Records. The title track reached the Top 15 in the Melodic House & Techno category and was featured on BBC Radio by Pete Tong in his “New Names Mix.”
This was followed by further releases on respected labels such as Ritter Butzke Records from Berlin, Parquet Recordings, Heinz Music, Zehn, and others, through which ROUMEX continuously developed their signature sound and expanded their presence in the scene. They were also guests with an exclusive DJ set on Global Ibiza Radio, further highlighting their international direction.
