His tireless need to evolve and grow as creative entity and forward thinking artist pushes this Paris based composer to constantly seek a new musical excitement, naturally crossing musical genres, always keeping an eye on the original definition of the underground, in techno, electro, house, tech-house, deep house, minimal, releasing on acclaimed labels such as Get Physical, Noir Music, Suara, Definitive Recordings, Plus 8, Great Stuff, Knee Deep In Sound, Terminal M, Yoshitoshi, Stil Vor Talent, Toolroom, Tronic, Eleatics, etc...

As well as boasting a number of excellent releases under his own name, he also continues to put out a number of top-quality work under the alias of Ohmme. But his unwavering determination to push boundaries sets him apart from the others and his creativity span far beyond the music that’s brought him to international acclaim. Launched originally in 1991 by John Acquaviva, Richie Hawtin and Karl Kowalski, Definitive represented the housier side of the electronic empire that Hawtin and Acquaviva started with Plus 8 Records in 1990, and after a brief hiatus, John Acquaviva re-launched Definitive in 2005 with Olivier as his main artist and A&R, seeking and presenting the latest emerging sounds and talent to the world via a reputable, consistent, and trust-worthy platform.

With this impressive career achievements and a relentless work ethic for touring, Olivier is also known around the world for his exhilarating DJ performances that combine a heavy dose of groove inside an inspired blend of melodic flavors, demonstrating his talent behind the decks with an undoubtable versatility, adaptability, and headlining some of the world’s most iconic venues and events.

In 2020 alone he released across a string of top tier labels the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Haus, Moon Harbour, Repopulate Mars, Muna Musik, We Are The Brave & more. The aforementioned include many club hits and Dj Weapons. Always refusing to stay in one sonic niche for too long, Huxley – whether working solo or with collaborators – switches up his sound, tries new things and colours outside the lines with every new outing. Not afraid of a big hook or slaying bass line, he is an artist who unites a variety of sounds, styles and scenes with ease, and always proves as fun as he is well informed. As a Dj, Huxley is someone as comfortable headlining a vast festival stage as he is holding down a small and sweaty basement. He does so from Africa to Australia and is the sort of selector who always delivers a slick high impact dose of the good stuff. His youthful looks have adorned the pack-shot cover of Spotify’s hugely populated Electronic Rising playlist not once but twice already, showing he has that mass demographic appeal to the new generation of Spotify clubbers that are fanatical about the dance scene just as much as he is himself.

Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Manda Moor, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore, Sidney Charles, Toman, Rich NxT and S.A.M. to name a few.
