World behold: Berlin-based couple Brax Moody (Munich) and Vamparela (Thessaloniki). Merging the rhythm and dynamism of Munich’s clubs with the grime and attitude of Thessaloniki’s back-alley indie bars gives an idea of how to categorize Local Suicide: a straight-up energetic fusion of new wave, slow techno, dark disco, EBM, acid or as they like to call it 'cobra wave' & 'technodisco'.

They have played all over Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the US with gigs at Lollapalooza, Melt!, ADE, Off Sonar, Berlin Festival, Festival Forte and almost every club the German capital has to offer whilst holding down day jobs in the music industry. Rest assured that these two have honed their musical tastes and chops.

Having organized parties, festivals, and moderated radio shows for years, Local Suicide are just as much at ease inside the booth as they are outside.

Since 2014 they’ve released various EPs, edits and remixes on labels such as TAU, Eskimo, Multi Culti, Bordello A Parigi and Ombra.

Their releases have received huge support by press and high profile Djs across the world and have been added to influential Spotify Playlists like Fresh Finds , Electronic Rising, OFF POP and Beats Alterlatinos. 2022 saw the release of their critically acclaimed debut albums  'Eros Anikate' as Local Suicide on their own imprint Iptamenos Discos as well as 'Rimini' with Dina Summer - their new band project with Kalipo - on Audiolith.

Kyoto based DJ/Producer, released many tracks inspired by 90's House/UK Garage/Jungle on labels in the UK and other countries. In 2020, the "Word Rush EP" was released on London's YAM Records, sold out in record stores worldwide, and was reprinted.

Since then, he has released records on Shall Not Fade, Scuffed Recordings, Hardline and other major labels in the current UK underground scene. Although he lives in Japan, he has become a rare presence who is regarded as an important producer in the current UK scene.

As a DJ, he has appeared at major festivals in Japan such as the Star Festival, the Rainbow Disco Club and Fuji Rock Fes. now making his presence felt even more strongly.

He has received support from producers at the forefront of dance music,including Ben UFO, Objekt, Om Unit, Yaeji, Coco Bryce, Conducta, and Breaka.

In 2017, he and Lomax, another Kyoto-based DJ/ producer, began running the Kyoto-based dance music label NC4K. With continuous releases and parties, the label is gaining attention as an important label that connects Japan and abroad.
