Bio

London underground, further catapulted his interest in house music. His movement into music production was a natural outgrowth of his many years of musical training and inspired in large part by his cousin, Grammy and Emmy-nominated songwriter and former American Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi. Throughout the years, Richie Dio has brought his passion and talent as a DJ behind the decks at several NYC nightclubs, including Limelight, Tunnel, Club Speed, Pacha, Cielo, TBA Brooklyn, Analog BKNY, and Schimanski, among others. The music comprising Richie Dio’s DJ sets and music productions incorporate plenty of driving drums and percussion, immersive melodies, chord progressions, and vocal elements, including genres such as House, Tech House, Afro House, Melodic House and Deep House, all speaking to his versatility and love for the many shades of dance music.
