Bio

Save The Robots is the studio alias of Robbie Dunne, a bassist, producer and remixer based in Granada, Spain. Re-editing is a large part of his musical world: his releases revisit disco, funk and pop records, with artists such as Shakatak, Patti Austin and France Joli among those featured in his independent catalogue. His interests also extend to the British sounds of UB40 and the Beat. Working across original productions, remixes and his own edits, Dunne brings a musician’s involvement with rhythm into the record collector’s practice of rediscovering and reworking older music.
