About Minitronik

Bio

Minitronik is the darker identity of Serbian DJ and producer Predrag Matić, who also records as Matke. Under Minitronik, he explores experimental minimal, techno and dub; Matke makes space for deep and tech house. The two names describe different interests within one musician's work, and he brings them together in performance rather than treating them as sealed compartments. Based in Bečej, Matić began DJing in 2009 and moved into production soon afterwards. He also runs Happy Days Records and HDR Limit, alongside releases through outlets such as MK837 and Microgarden Lab. Records carrying both Minitronik and Matke credits reflect that dual identity, not a collaboration between two separate artists.
