Every artist leaves a mark, and Mihai Popoviciu’s is unmistakable. For almost two decades, the Romanian producer and DJ has crafted a signature style—deep, hypnotic grooves, pinpoint precision, and an energy that commands the dancefloor.
Growing up in Sibiu (Romania), a city far removed from Europe’s electronic epicenters, Mihai’s passion for house and techno was born in isolation. The ‘90s saw London, Berlin, and Ibiza booming with dance music, while he was left scavenging for whatever sounds he could find. “We’d record German TV shows onto cassette and play them on repeat,” he recalls.

With no club scene in sight, Mihai’s DJ dreams seemed like a long shot. “I couldn’t DJ because there were no clubs,” he laughs. But software was within reach, so he made music. Refining his sound track after track, in 2005, his music found a home on International Deejay Gigolo. From there, he became a fixture on labels like Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bondage Music, Berg Audio, and his own imprint, Cyclic, founded in 2012.

Patience and persistence paid off. Once purely a producer, Mihai soon stepped behind the decks, learning the art of DJing on borrowed turntables. His transition from the studio to the club was seamless. Soon, the world took notice. Over the past decade, Mihai Popoviciu has solidified his status as a leading figure in the electronic music scene. Now, his name graces the lineups of the most revered clubs and festivals worldwide.

Mihai’s mission is simple: to share the joy and energy that fuel his passion. “Seeing people dance, smile, and lose themselves in the music—that’s what it’s all about.”

Whether commanding an underground club or a festival stage, Mihai’s sound remains unmistakable. “He had it from the start,” says friend and agent Benny Grauer. “You always know when it’s Mihai. And it’s always on point.”

There is a fine line between genius and insanity that Basti Grub has been balancing on for over 10 years. A time of intrepid experimentation with different musical influences and stylistic outbursts. A multi-faceted coming of age process that has made him what he is today - a creative madman whose mental orchestra never stops.

Whether its different instruments, modular systems or synths Basti Grub who was born in Frankfurt loves the unpredictable and never limits himself by thinking in conventional terms.

From a very early age onward it became clear that Basti´s fascination with music would take center stage in his life. The roots: reggae music, a Roland MC 303, turntables and life-changing trips to Omen and Robert Jonson which would lay the foundation to Grub´s concept of club-orientated sound.

About two years ago Basti Grub made a musical leap forward that took him to where he was already aiming for in his beginnings – a sophisticated minimalist yet groovy sound with high standards. This development did not go unnoticed and led to Basti Grub becoming the producer one of the Techno institution Timo Maas.

It is not frequent to see an artist who emerges from nowhere and becomes someone capable of revolutionizing the market. Wade, who was born in a small town in Spain, evolved with giant steps in a few years. He grew up in a humble neighborhood where it was usual to hear flamenco music and drum rhythms everywhere; gypsies tapping, guitars coloring summer nights and palms to the rhythm of southern Spain. From a very young age he was passionate about music, not just electronic but any song that had harmony and rhythm made him float. Wade did not stop until achieving his goals, having produced music for labels such as Universal Music, Atlantic Records or Black Book Records. If you've ever heard him as a DJ or producer you'll know what I'm talking about. When it comes about his style, we can admit that its quite unique, mixing convincing rhythms along with hip hop details, such as vocals, percussions, etc. He has worked on tracks together with great artists like David Guetta, Joel Corry, Solardo or Cloonee. Wade gained the visibility not only because of his top positions on the Beatport charts in the last years, but also thanks to the high numbers on streaming platforms such as Spotify. His sets, from distant Australia to any club in southern Argentina, are loaded with a lot of energy and passion. Wade's mission is to enjoy with his audience the music he loves, transmitting a state of fury from the very beginning till the end, creating a steady beat alongside electric rises that blow up the dance floor every time. In 2020 he created his own brand Criterio throwing a Sold Out All Night Long event at Fabrik Madrid. One year after, in 2021 and with the collaboration of Universal Music, Criterio became a record label releasing to the market the music that Wade loves the most.
