Bio

Kiko Navarro’s route into house music began in Palma before he was old enough to drive. In a 2025 interview, the Mallorcan DJ recalled starting as a booth assistant at Luna on his fifteenth birthday, opening the evening and operating the lights while teaching himself to mix. The records he absorbed through his older brother—soul, funk, disco, hip-hop and English pop—still help explain the warmth and breadth of his productions. Navarro later became closely associated with Mallorca’s club culture and developed Afroterraneo, a label and live-minded outlet for his dialogue between house and sounds from across the Mediterranean, Africa and Latin America. His catalogue includes the Buika collaboration “Soñando Contigo,” work with DJ Pippi and Willie Graff, and recent releases with Floyd Lavine. Even after decades behind the decks, his music remains rooted in rhythm, musicianship and the social connection of a long dancefloor journey.
