Over 20 years into his career, Miguel Matoz continues to embody the heart

and soul of house and techno music.

With one artist album and more than 100 originals under his belt, Miguel has perfected the balance of old school and contemporary sounds in his production work. With a studio overflowing with analog/digital gear and almost one decade of production.

His current attentions are primary devoted to Souled Records and Souled Black Recordings, the two labels he runs out of his adopted home Island of Koh Phangan. In the 7 years since Souled began it has been one of the sources of Miguel’s material, while also providing a home for emerging talents.

Meanwhile its techno brother label Souled Black recordings has made an instant impact since its launch in 2013 debuting with a new EP from Miguel’s born Instead alias.

Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Manda Moor, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore, Sidney Charles, Toman, Rich NxT and S.A.M. to name a few.

Born in a small town near Barcelona, George Privatti begins to experience his first feelings to electronic rhythms at age of 17. Buying a bit later his first decks, and strongly influenced by the environment of the 90s’ illegal raves in the Catalan scene, soon he began to join and to participate in the world of illegal parties of his region.

The success of the catalan artist it does not go unnoticed, soon takes the step to head a list of important “new comers” artists of the national scene, getting to rub shoulders with the best participants of the international scene. 2009 was a crucial moment of his career, deciding to start in the production world, spending days and days in the studio to translate his ideas on his own productions, following the same techy line, alternating fresh and dance elements of the house with the forcefulness and bass lines most typical bass lines of techno. It is precisely during this time when several of the most important labels on the scene were interested in its characteristic sound and begin to edit their music in the main music shops.

With an admirable sound evolution and an dynamism applied to its sets, during 2012 year he decided to create his own label, La Pera Records, a platform to accommodate and express different range of sounds, as well as the productions of established and emerging artists, and focused primarily on the dance floor submerged between sounds close to techno-house with its different and more evolved aspects. The musical adventures of Privatti continue with firm step, with his signing for the family of the emblematic ElRow of Barcelona and his residences and parties around the world, playing in clubs like Privilege Ibiza in 2013, Space Ibiza ( 2014-2016), Amnesia in 2017, Fabrik (Madrid), Florida 135 and performing at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Park Life (Manchester), Monegros Desert Festival, Dreambeach, LoveBox (London), 18Hrs Festival (Amsterdam), Empire Music Festival ( Guatemala), SoulTech (Mexico), Selenic Soul (Mexico), etc., and touring more than 20 countries that have also been faithful witnesses of its quality and versatility in the cabin.

The success of Privatti at the time of locking himself in the studio has not been overlooked within the sector; Elrow Music, 100% Pure, Formatik, 1605, Toolroom, Deeperfect, FORM, have been just some of the laudable ones that have trusted in their productions. Productions that have had a lot to do in the sets and charts of artists of the likes of Richie Hawtin, UMEK, Joris Voorn, Mark Knight, Stefano Noferini, Sebastien Leger.
In 2018 he get to reach the top of the beatport top of all genres with the theme “What a Bam” in collaboration with his great friend Guille Placencia and released on his own label La Pera Records.

George Privatti

Dj and producer from Barcelona with over 10years dedicated to electronic music. We might be talking about one of the Spanish artists with the biggest international exposure. His hardworking abilities and great knowledge have allowed him to become number 1 in sales in Beatport’s general top for numerous weeks in a row with his track "What a Bam" together with his friend and mate George Privatti, though his label La Pera Records, amongst many others. England, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Greece, Guatemala, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Russia are only some of the countries where he has played. 

And, of course, in Spain in prestigious clubs like Elrow Barcelona, Florida 135 or festivals like Medusa Festival or Summer Fun Laredo have seen him take control of the decks with the strong and easy-going personality that define him so well. But it doesn’t stop there. Numerous clubs like Martina Beach Mexico, Steam Club Athens and festivals like Empire Music Festival, Soul Tech Mexico have also witnessed his talent where he had over 10.000 people dancing to his music. Toolroom, Deeperfect, Elrow Music, Solä Music or his own label “La Pera Records” are some of the many labels where Guille has published his work. 

He received support on his tracks from worldwide known artists. Some examples are Marco Carola, Joris Voorn, Erick Morillo, Luciano, The Martinez Brothers, Nic Fanciulli, Waff, Technasia, Solardo, Detlef, Latmun, Fisher and many others.
