Bio
Chris Llopis is a Sweden-based producer whose minimal house has a longer history in Scandinavian club music behind it. An early interest in DJing led from Swedish youth clubs to Copenhagen's rave scene, where he moved at twenty and became involved in the minimal-trance world of the late 1990s.
His records as Llopis appeared on Tatsu and Iboga, alongside work with Ecco and the Virtual Boy project. After a career break, he returned with music for Tooloop, Bodyparts and Micronica. Releases including Fundament on Heisenberg and Meld on Dubøka continue that move toward minimal house, giving an experienced producer a different rhythmic setting for his ideas.
