Kaidi Tatham is a highly accomplished and prolific producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter widely regarded as one of the architects of the U.K.'s broken beat scene. He's helmed dozens of projects and appeared in the credits of hundreds of releases since the 1990s, blending and switching between styles such as jazz fusion, house, hip-hop, neo-soul, and much more. His music typically features complex yet danceable syncopated rhythms and fluid arrangements, showcasing his virtuosic prowess on the keyboards, flute, drums, and other instruments. Tatham has been a major part of the groundbreaking Bugz in the Attic collective as well as several acts on the 2000 Black label, frequently collaborating with its founder, Dego of 4Hero. His solo discography includes albums and singles as Agent K, Shokazulu, and under his own name, including the 2021 full-length An Insight to All Minds.

Kaidi Tatham

Exploring the merge between grooves and jazz, RADIOHOP is an Amsterdam based fusion/hip-hop group with members Johnny Biner (Guitar), Joshua Lutz (Keys), Joel F Svedberg (Bass) and Euan Jenkins (Drums). We look to push and explore new sonic areas whilst maintaining the legacy and feel of the greats, gaining inspiration across the spectrum from Herbie Hancock to Kaidi Tatham to Azymuth.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we had all moved to Amsterdam for Jazz studies. After quickly finding each other through jamming and recognising similar tastes, we began to rehearse regularly, delving into the intricacies of J Dilla and the art of hip-hop, whilst exploring our own sound and shaping compositions from influences of jazz, fusion and soul. Since then we have maintained a steady presence in the scene with own shows, collaborations (including an album with producer Kid Sublime), and performing as the rhythm section for other artists such as JuJu Rogers, Maydien, Halfpastseven, Duimalot, Helena Casella and Sydney Lowell. We have also worked together with communities and event creators, such as Steppin' into Tomorrow, Milieu Events and Super-Sonic Jazz.

Currently we are in the process of releasing our music. With our first single having debuted in June 2023, we have an extensive release schedule for the future, including two albums.
