Bio

Bushwacka!, aka Matthew Benjamin, has been DJing and producing for over 30 years. Starting out as a percussionist in the London School Symphony Orchestra, he was drawn into the Acid House movement in '88 and quickly became a fixture on the UK club scene. By 18, he held residencies at four major London clubs and was soon touring across Europe and the US. As one half of the legendary duo Layo & Bushwacka!, he helped define the UK electronic sound with four albums, iconic tracks like "Love Story," and residencies at The End, Space Ibiza, and Warung Brazil. Their live shows and Shake It warehouse parties were the stuff of legend.
