Bio

Dew (FR) bring house, R&B and funk listening habits into a partnership centred on tech-house and minimal grooves. Based in Lyon, the duo identify with the sounds they grew up around in the 1990s; when asked which records helped spark their musical paths, they singled out Michael Jackson’s Baby Be Mine and Chez Damier’s Can You Feel It in MK’s New York Dub. Their French Kiss EP for Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite was made with friends and collaborators Cano (FR), Max Mash and Gousso. That shared way of working also runs through later tracks with Gaby (FR) and YYVNG. Alongside releases for Glasgow Underground and Club Sweat, their Jams mix series takes the project beyond the studio, with sessions recorded at home, outdoors and even in a barbershop.
