Born in the tranquil village of Nieuwer ter Aa, just outside Amsterdam, Khun’s musical journey began under the guidance of his father, a passionate DJ whose love for vinyl set the tone for their household. Drawing inspiration from those formative years, Khun stepped behind the decks and started producing his own music at the age of 16. He quickly found his voice in the realm of house music, carving out a distinctive sound that resonates with audiences nationwide.
Khun’s approach to music is minimal, stripped-back sounds. His tracks combine crisp, driving drums, smooth, flowing grooves, and deep, thic basslines, each element crafted with meticulous care. By stripping away excess, he lets the core of each track shine, resulting in a sound that’s both refined and impactful.
Over time, Khun has become a recognizable name at prestigious venues like Thuishaven and Shelter. In 2024, he co-founded the label Naked, which embodies his belief that less is more. At Naked, it’s not about adding more, it’s about letting the essentials speak louder.
