About Basil O'Glue

Bio

Basil O'Glue explores the darker and more hypnotic side of trance. The Greek producer Haris Vasiloglou developed an interest in electronic music through The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, later combining production with a background in graphic design, 3D animation and photography. With Styller, he founded Saturate Audio as a platform for deep, groove-led progressive music. His own releases on JOOF, Afterglow and BAGRUHM continue that direction, while Calantha, his partnership with Nomas, provides a shared studio outlet. He has spoken about the difficulty of finding this music within a genre often associated with uplifting and vocal records. His welcome for Beatport's Raw / Deep / Hypnotic trance category reflects a clear musical commitment: giving that less obvious side of trance a recognisable place, without losing the connections to progressive music around it.
