Breaking through in 2016 via their EP "Swedish Lo-Life", released by Axel Boman on the eclectic Studio Barnhus imprint, MLiR was born from a love of heavily dug DJ sets, late-night studio sessions and live organic elements resulting in a sound that channels a whole universe of dance-floor stories whilst being impossible to categorize under one genre.
With Red Bull Music premiering the duo's mid-year release, "Trans-World-Junktion", the single was picked up by Studio Barnhus again and having done the rounds all summer long, the guys are gaining regular support from tastemakers Dj Harvey, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mano Le Tough, Gilles Peterson, and Âme on top of touring either their Live or DJ shows for Dekmantel /Amsterdam, Pikes/Ibiza, Nitsa/Barcelona, 1918 Dila/Tiblisi, Pontoon/Budapest etc.
