About Rauschhaus

Bio

Before Moritz Rausch became Rauschhaus, he spent roughly a decade making hip-hop in Kiel. He has said that dance music took over around 2009–10, after German rap’s changing tone pushed him toward drum & bass, jungle and the melodic electronics of artists such as Extrawelt and Stephan Bodzin. Production came before DJing, and his background as a multi-instrumentalist still shows in music that balances warm melodic movement with darker, trippy atmosphere. The Kiel producer’s catalogue has since moved through labels including Parquet, Einmusika and Stil vor Talent. In 2023 he co-founded Forevermore with fellow Kiel artist Peer Kusiv, turning a long-running collaboration into a label platform.
