Hailing from the greater Frankfurt Area Sascha Dive has made quite an impression on the international house and techno circus over the last ten years. Although the deephouse traveller looks back on an amazing amount of pristine releases, with the first official vinyl pressed back in 2007, one can still call him a young gun. If you look around in the deeper fields of house music these days this gifted producer and DJ seems to be an exception. This isn't a disadvantage at all because with all the energy in his mind and hands Sascha Dive proves with every gig and production that he plays on the same level as many of his legends, if not even higher!

 

Strongly influenced by the godfathers of deephouse like Moodyman, Chez Damier or Ron Trent and following the first waves of top notch German house labels, such as Playhouse, Sascha Dive has progressed to a serious floor fighter since his first official appearance in 2007. With a musical taste reaching from his deephouse backround and soulful minimal sounds to kicking and mind blowing techno he has played almost every leading club and festival over the past ten years.

 

Sascha Dive is not only taking his sound and vision to the world's finest floors, he still manages to release more and more music. Dive has released a vast number of productions and remixes on high class labels such as Tsuba, Freebase, Deep Labs (Balance US), Raum...Musik or Stir15 and aside from all the touring and producing he still runs his own "Deep Vibes" label with great success. "Deep Vibes" has produced some outstanding music by Sascha Dive and his buddies and „house-mates“ such as Brothers Vibe, Robert Dietz, Christian Burkhardt or Markus Fix (just to name a few) and most of it on vinyl! So it's no wonder that vinyl master Sven Väth signed Sascha to Cocoon Artists and Cocoon Recordings.

 

Sascha Dive, a forward thinking producer and DJ who still waves the flag of the real vinyl sound and always will. With more young men like him house music will live on forever!

Sascha Dive

Gregory S (Gergely Sardi), was born in 1984 in Hungary. He became addicted to electronic music really early, at the age of 7-8. A few years later, when he got a closer look at the party life, the feeling of getting to know the world of record players and vinyls, just became even stronger. He started practising and buying records regularly in 2001. He spent more and more time analyzing this profession, and finally found himself behind the dj counter. In the first years of dj work, he played mostly in smaller clubs and various events, but not long after, his talent was highly appreciated in the hottest clubs of Budapest, and in many other clubs of the country. He almost tried every different style, and as most of the djs, his taste of music is moving within a wide range. Nowdays, he prefers deep-house & tech-house, but we can not categorise him. Not only he has great contacts with djs in Hungary, but is regularly playing with the best ones, as well as with international djs such as Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Henry Saiz, Sascha Braemer, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Eelke Kleijn, Jody Wisternoff, Matthew Dekay, Moshic etc... He is a member of Truesounds Team since 2005, and is a regular participant of Truesounds parties all over the country. On Saturdays he is one of the hosts of Matrix radio show on LoungeRadio. He has been producing music together with Dandy aka Peter Makto (No.1 house Dj in Hungary) since 2008. Currently they have several releases on various labels all over the world.v

Gregory S

An expert at creating harmonious illusions of sound, Germany’s Powel always finds a way to thread together natural elegance and tasteful patience in music. Having learned the piano at a young age and subsequently performed with bands and even an orchestra, his palette of music has a vast foundation influenced by the people and places he encounters. The sound artist's unique touch captures warm, celestial vibes filled with airy atmospheres together with delicate rhythms, telling melancholic stories fused with ghostly, low-slung cuts rich with nuance and subtlety.

Powel steadily explores this duality in sounds throughout his performances around the world, which include his annual sets on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man and residencies with the All Day I Dream family alongside Lee Burridge. He is also a regular at Behrouz’s intimate Miami venue, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, and the New York institution Bespoke Musik.

It’s rare to hear an artist so intimately blur the line between uplifting pieces of music and raw, emotive records that exude the soul of deep house in its purest forms. Powel’s storytelling remains a special affair for the enthusiast.

When Dahu hit the scene in the beginning of 2012, his tracks and sets were difficult to digest. His eerie emotionality makes for a different breed of house music. Having traversed a plethora of genres, Dahu's tracks are a complex amalgamation of his musical background and education. Nonetheless, the young producer from Augsburg has set himself a simple task: Create haunting hymns that make you dance for hours. Supported by the likes of &Me, Affkt, Luciano, Mosca, Turmspringer, Shir Khan, David Dorad, Sebo and many others, his debut EP "Deep in the Woods" made a splash in March of 2012. Deep in the Woods has been the most successful release on Steyoyoke to date, managing to ascertain the appeal of Dahu's atmospheric productions. Remixes followed for fellow Steyoyoke Artists, establishing Dahu firmly in the House music scene. At the moment, Dahu is strolling through the urban sprawl of Berlin and will be back soon with a follow up EP to Deep in the Woods.
