Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Manda Moor, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore, Sidney Charles, Toman, Rich NxT and S.A.M. to name a few.

His core musical persona has essence of the soulful and groovy tones of the classic 90s house music era, whilst fusing this with his own modern and energetic flick. Danny has had support from the likes of Prunk, Sidney Charles, Sarah Story & M-High to name a few. Danny is no stranger behind the decks, being a resident DJ with the ever rising event label Sulko, pushing a similar sound and energy from his productions into his DJ sets.
