The Deepshakerz

Danish DJ and producer Christian Nielsen, is a rare commodity in the world of House and Techno. While other producers might pander to the masses, Nielsen, never opts for a novelty approach, instead carving his own successful niche in a constant jostle for dance floor play.

Danish producer, Christian Nielsen is an artist who has seemed to come out of nowhere. Working in an office by day and developing his musical craft by night.

That said, his sound is a classic one, and one which has already made him popular – most notably on Kompakt, Noir, Play It Down, Kling Klong and Of Unsound Mind

Nielsen, however, is no flash in the pan, and is a producer who knows his way around the studio and has evolved musically buying tracks and studying legends like Kerri Chandler, Jimpster, Mr. V, Master At Work, Larry Heard, Moodymann and the late Frankie Knuckles.

A firm advocate of dance-floor ready house, Nielsen is one of the most interesting producers to arrive on our radar for some time, and if you’re a fan of electronic music, then you’ll no doubt be aware that we’re dealing with a man who’s stock is firmly on the rise.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria at the end of the Socialist era, Pavel Petrov was raised in a time when western cultural influence swept across the capital bringing with it a new wave of musical inspiration. Emerging from the ashes of the post-communist era was a vibrant electronic music scene in which Pavel was regarded as a music selector by his peers whilst becoming an internationally respected DJ and producer. With a background in music and natural talent there’s no horizon when it comes to blending sound, genres & styles. Naturally Pavel’s desire to express his musical creativity developed and started to take shape in the studio. Many of his productions found their way into the Beatport charts for Indie Dance, Tech & Deep House. His music is regularly selected by trendsetters like Adriatique, Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Kevin de Vries, Gordo / Carnage, Camelphat, Carl Cox, Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles, Claptone, M.A.N.D.Y., Joris Voorn, John Digweed and many more. Commitment & consistency brought 2018 as the most successful year for him yet. Through his curated events Pavel has brought ‘EXE’ club to the forefront of the electronic music clubbing scene in Sofia. It’s here where he resides & shares the decks with some of the worlds most highly regarded electronic music acts. This music industry legend, trailblazer, and currently one of the hottest DJ’s and producers on the underground electronic music scene...Green Velvet... came into existence more than 25 years ago. In 1993 Green Velvet launched Relief Records and since that time has been a constant presence in the industry. When this very eccentric, green Mohawk wearing Green Velvet emerged, he sent shock waves throughout the House and Techno music scenes. What was even more intriguing was his background. Born in the southern suburbs of Chicago, IL he has always been an active athlete and focused student determined to follow his dream of becoming a chemical engineer. While he excelled scholastically he was socially introverted, but always committed to finding ways to share his enthusiasm for living. Even today, more than 25 years later...it is difficult to go to any electronic music festival or set and not hear music from Green Velvet/Relief Records. Crowds everywhere sing along when notable hits like: Bigger than Prince, Flash, La La Land, Lazer Beams, Live Stream, Preacher Man, Shake and Pop, Sheeple, Suga, and Voicemail, are blasting across the airwaves. Part of the history of Green Velvet and Relief Records is all about the Love.... Love of the music...Love of the fans...Love of other artists.
