After being exposed to House music of the 90's and early 2000's, Barcelona based Piem was destined to journey into the world of underground music. These early musical experiences helped to shape Piem into a firm favourite on the Barcelona club scene with a residency at W Barcelona and playing in venues like Pacha and Barcelona's biggest festival, Sonar.

Piem has established himself across the world and is gaining recognition among fans, DJ peers and promoters. Change is inevitable, and nowhere is this more prevalent than in the world of dance music. Analog gives way to digital, trends come and go, yet NYC’s DJ Joeski remains at the top of his game, and now, in the midst of his third decade as one of house music’s most sought-after stars, his momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Joeski’s trajectory can be traced back to 1991, when he burst onto the NYC house music scene as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory DJ collective. He delighted crowds at Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium and NASA, helped turn “Save The Robots” into a NYC afterhours institution and earned his first residency at “Together” parties at the legendary Roxy, playing alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez.

Already a fixture on the U.S. and Canadian club circuit,in the late 90’s Joeski added production to his repetoire, building his own recording studio and spending the next few years mastering his craft. In 2000 he burst into the clubs and onto the charts with hit after hit on Electrik Soul, Siesta, Chez and Camouflage, emerging as one of the most sought-after DJs, remixers and producers in the scene.

In 2001 Joeski launched Maya Records, with releases like “Hustler’s Revenge” and his collaboration with DJ Chus on “El Amor” propelling the label onto the forefront of the U.S. house music sound that would become a global phenomenon and win him worldwide acclaim from clubbers and fellow DJs alike.

Demand for his studio skills grew exponentially over the next decade, with Joeski producing and remixing for the likes of NRK, Ministry of Sound, Defected, Bedrock, Nervous, Cajual and KMS ,helping catapult him further into the ranks of the house music elite.

Entering its 16th year, his Maya label continues a steady output of quality material that remain fixtures on the Beatport and Traxsource tech and deep house charts, with a robust release schedule that shows no signs of slowing any time soon.

January 2017 began with Joeski once again hard at work in the studio, teaming up with Harry Romero (as HR+Ski) on “Dem Tings” for Maya, working solo on “Lessons in Dub” for Poker Flat and also releasing the 14th installment in his “Maya Sessions” podcast on Pioneer DJ Radio.

The new music and remixes continued with the release of “Mind Function” on Maya and “Tribute to Obatala” on Crosstown Rebels, dropped by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show in February.

Joeski’s touring schedule continues to be as prolific as his studio output, headlining clubs from Acapulco to Helsinki plus a booked-out week spent at Miami Music Week 2017. In March all three tracks from “Tribute to Obatala” simultaneously climbed onto Beatport’s Tech House Top 100, with Joeski ending the month as featured artist on John Digweed’s “Transitions” podcast.

New music continued to flow in April including the release of Dancing in Space” on Kinetika and “Deep Elements EP” on Kitball, while “Mind Function” on Maya climbed into the Traxsource Tech House Top-10. Returning home from a tour of Mexico Joeski hit the studio once again, jamming with SF’s legendary Doc Martin on an upcoming collaboration and putting the finishing touches on his next solo Maya release.

This summer Joeski will once again be a fixture on the global tour circuit with performances at both Do Not Sleep and Dennis Ferrer’s Misfits Party in Ibiza, extensive tours of Australia, New Zealand, South America and Europe while back stateside he and Harry Romero continue their monthly Yage night at Brooklyn’s Output.

Fueled by his genuine love of the music, there’s no doubt that Joeski will continue to evolve both behind the decks and in the studio, captivating new generations of club-goers and maintaining his place as one of dance music’s most enduring talents.

Harry had the privilege of being raised in a musical family. His mother soaked the air with the Latin rhythms of merengue and cumbia, while his father, a former opera tenor, practiced his scales and listened to Beethoven. These early influences drive Harry to constantly look to expand musically... and he has.Run-DMC, along with the Latin-freestyle movement in the 80s, inspired Choo-Choo (the train conductor's cap he's worn since childhood may have something to do with the nickname). Choo-Choo jump-started his career as a DJ with a high-voltage performance at a New Jersey dance club. From there, he was taken under the wing of Millennium Music, a management company and production team. Harry worked with their label, Gossip Records (distributed by Strictly Rhythm), creating demos and gathering some useful industry-related knowledge.His first record, Soulfuric "Urban Turban" was clearly ahead of its time, weaving Arabic scatting with house grooves. Strictly Rhythm grabbed the record for release in 1995, and asked him to release a follow-up Soulfuric record, called "Sea Of Passion" which captured more Latin elements. Both records were licensed extensively, catapulting Harry's name and music out into the world.A number of releases followed for labels like Emotive, Sex Mania, Power Music, and Gossip Records. One of Harry's major breaks resulted from C&C Music Factory's Robert Clivilles' interest in one of Harry's creations named "Il Futuro", a house track with an Italian vocal from "World" EP.Robert asked Harry to write, produce, and arrange a song, "Saturday Night" for his 1996 LP "Robi-Rob's Club World". As expected, lots of work followed for Harry.Collaborations with his labelmates and others have been extremely important for Harry as he continues to develop his name and his body of work. Constipated Monkeys, Harry's acclaimed partnership with Jose Nunez, has produced several percussive, funky tracks including "Cro-Magnon" and "Erectus" (Subliminal Records). The success of these tracks has launched the team into another wave of production - their 12" "Sunshine" was released this summer. In addition, Constipated Monkeys' worldwide reputation as producers and DJs has earned them residencies at both The Ministry of Sound in London and Pacha in Ibiza, Spain.To top off Harry's stream of new solo releases, a much- anticipated follow-up track with the stunning vocalist Inaya Day will succeed last year's tremendous Subliminal release "Just Can't Get Enough". Harry describes this record as "chalk-full of 80s rock n' roll and Latin roots."He is an impressive young man with an honest and zealous dedication to improving and honing his talents. He recognizes Dave Darlington, an engineer he has worked closely with, for inspiring him to sharpen his technical skills, and he credits the many great musicians and vocalists he's worked with for reminding him that it's all about the music.

Still young but with experiences in the booth and studio well beyond his years, he has a fine array of tools at his disposal. Over the past years, the friendly character has excelled at many different musical styles, often ahead of the curve, but all intrinsically linked in Hux’s own inimitable style in a House to Tech House to Techno vein, all musically accomplished offerings that stir real emotion. Proof of that lies in his varied and vital discography. In 2020 alone he released across a string of top tier labels the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Haus, Moon Harbour, Repopulate Mars, Muna Musik, We Are The Brave & more. The aforementioned include many club hits and Dj Weapons. Always refusing to stay in one sonic niche for too long, Huxley – whether working solo or with collaborators – switches up his sound, tries new things and colours outside the lines with every new outing. Not afraid of a big hook or slaying bass line, he is an artist who unites a variety of sounds, styles and scenes with ease, and always proves as fun as he is well informed. As a Dj, Huxley is someone as comfortable headlining a vast festival stage as he is holding down a small and sweaty basement. He does so from Africa to Australia and is the sort of selector who always delivers a slick high impact dose of the good stuff. His youthful looks have adorned the pack-shot cover of Spotify’s hugely populated Electronic Rising playlist not once but twice already, showing he has that mass demographic appeal to the new generation of Spotify clubbers that are fanatical about the dance scene just as much as he is himself.

Huxley

Berlin based duo Mat.Joe are the latest addition to the FMLY roster. Coming from a background of rap, skateboarding and breakdancing - influencing their style of House today. From their roots as hip hop producers they have moved to producing and playing crispy Housebeats paired with rhythmic Soul and Hip Hop elements. The result is deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough.

Being best friends and moving from Hannover to Berlin to follow their sound - you can see their passion and comaraderie behind the decks. Being inspired by the Berlin culture and every day places such as subway rides, late night showers and favourite bars, their music has taken them on a journey.

Yousef is a man firmly in control of his imminent destiny. Having been at the forefront of dance music fan’s attentions across the globe since the latter stages of the last century, he’s an artist that continues to evolve and develop with consummate ease. New sounds, new developments and new frontiers; they all remain an instrumental part of his thrust forward as one the planet’s leading underground House music tastemakers.As a producer he continues to smash preconceptions about not only his style but the wider spectrum of House and Techno as well. Recently he’s gifted his beats to an ever expanding cluster of the most revered and respected imprints in the business, be them Carl Cox’s Intec, Nick Curly’s Cecille, Nic Fanciuilli’s Saved, the effervescent Monique Musique and of course Sven Vath’s timeless label Cocoon which released ‘Come Home’, Yousef’s stunning piece de resistance.He’s recently finished his second full artist album, adding a series of more musically focused tracks to his resume alongside the serious (self penned) emotive vocal moments and of course many dance floor workouts (currently getting endless love from Loco Dice, Magda, Nic Fancuilli, Carl Cox, Guti and Uner). Coming soon is a developing live concept that redefines how electronic music is experienced.That keen ear is also set to see a return to global radio in the near future.Yousef’s record label “Circus Recordings” has had an excellent year, releasing tracks From Sven Vath, Four Tet, Gilles Peterson, Santos & Yousef himself, as well as signing a killer single from one of the dominant forces in Yousef’s career DJ Sneak. Alongside the kingpins of electronic music it is also pushing the next generation with Maher Daniel, Tom Flynn, Yostek and Doomwork and Acid Mondays, the latter discovered by Yousef.And the what of the club-night that the label adorns the name of? Circus continues to dominate UK clubbing with its stunning ensembles of talent month after month. Whether going solo or doing parties with Planet E, Cocoon or BBC Radio One for the historic 500th Essential Mix, they’ve always got the mixture of established and the soon to be huge perfectly balanced. Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Ritchie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Luciano, Ricardo Vilalobos, Laurent Garnier (DJ & Live), Carl Craig and Adam Beyer are among those representing the former, whilst they can lay claim to being among the very first to champion the likes of Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles and Resident Advisor’s No 1 DJ Jamie Jones.It’s exalted company that Yousef is more than comfortable alongside. Recent key gigs on home soil at the Warehouse Project, Global Gathering and now a Circus London regular at the new Egg where his kaleidoscopic approach to house will be part of the re-shape of what is an incredible venue. His European pedigree continues with strong followings across the continent - Fabrik in Madrid, Kristal in Bucharest, and further shows in Helsinki, Italy or his new residency with Duel Beat in Napoli attest to this.He also continues to etch his name in the folklore of South American clubbing with stops in Argentina, Chile and Brazil, the latter boasting D-Edge and Warung as Yousef destinations. Ultra Music continues to take electronic music festivals to a whole new dimension and their support for Yousef has seen appearances at their events in Miami, Sao Paulo, Warsaw and Seoul. An unprecedented five- week tour of Asia, Australia and New Zealand was a highlight of the latter stages of last year maintained his deity status of that part of the world. And of course he enjoys a similar reverence at dance music’s centre piece, Ibiza.Ever since he first travelled there as a starry eyed dance music fanatic in the late nineties Yousef has had a very special relationship with the white isle, having lived there intermittently during that time and DJed consistently there since 1998. He still enjoys a gloriously fruitful residency with Carl Cox and his Ibiza’s number 1 club event “Revolution” parties on Tuesdays at Space, with further appearances at DC- 10’s Circo Loco event throughout the summerHis style remains perfectly emblematic of the dance floor dexterity needed in the modern clubspace, bringing the seductive groove and swing of classic house just as readily as the energy of techno, all along maintaining the vibe of authentic dj over 3 decks without a computer in sight. Whether delivering hedonistic immediacy or crafting extended sets riddled with subtlety, Yousef is both technically and musically peerless in his field, one of the globe’s finest exponents of a four-four beat.A 21st century artist in scope, sound and stance, his lust for electronic music as a producer, promoter, DJ, record label owner and music enthusiast is stronger than ever.
